Case on stand dovetailed dog feeder

Dog feeder for our chocolate lab Rex. Each joint is a dovetail. Slight chamfers here and there to create subtle shadow lines. This is the first project where I really paid attention to grain direction and tried for as much straight grain as possible. Also, the first project where I incorporated significant hand tool use and the last project I completed before getting a table saw. Quartersawn cherry.

Rex is eating like a king now! The feeder looks great, probably the nicest one I've seen with the cherry and the nicely cut dovetails. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Sean! Rex loves it (now). He was kind of scared of it for about a day. This was a really fun project and I definitely learned a bunch on this one.
