This Babydoll crib was built for my first granddaughter.  It is a replica of the full sized crib I built over thirty years ago, which was used by all 3 of my daughters when they were babies. Now my granddaughter sleeps in the same big crib when she visits, and has the little crib at her house for "Baby".

It is constructed using half-lap joinery and Shaker rail & stile cabinet door joinery for the headboard panels.

The original big crib, also shown in one of the pics, is just made of pine.  At that point in my woodworking life, that's about all I used (or had access to).  The babydoll crib is a little fancier, made made of Walnut, Olive, Maple, Oak, & Pine.  ItFinished with Danish Oil.
